What can I expect prior to Treatment?

A consultation is necessary prior to scheduling your MicroLaser Peel. The consultation allows the physician to assess your skin to determine the optimal laser skin treatment for you. During consultation pre-treatment and post treatment care instructions will be discussed. Some treatments may also require a skin care regimen before beginning your treatment.

What can I expect after my treatment?

Laser resurfacing may cause the skin to become raw, red or pink with mild to moderate discomfort for a few days (similar to a sunburn). Cool compresses are helpful following treatment to decrease any swelling or irritation. If your skin is pigmented, you may actually experience darkening of these areas prior to improvement. You will be provided with a post-treatment recovery kit to promote healing. The following day you will need to return for your second oxygen mist vitamin treatment. You will need to avoid the sun as much as possible.
